While driving in September of 2004, I saw what appeared to be a starving German Shepherd standing in the middle of the road. I stopped and gave it a package of crackers I had in the car with me, and drove to the nearest store to buy it a bag of dog food. When I got back to where the dog was, I was horrified to see a man chaining the dog to a makeshift doghouse, and along side it was a second Shepherd, in the same deplorable condition.
Because of the events that followed,
which you can read about here, I have opened this website. I hope by exposing the way man's best friend and other animals who depend upon people for their care are being treated in Crawford County, I can bring about changes for the betterment of their lives.
I invite others to send photos and help expose the cruelty that exists in our neighborhoods. Together we can make a difference, one photo at a time.
